350.org is an international movement of ordinary people working to end the age of fossil fuels and build a world of community-led renewable energy for all. It was founded in 2008 with a goal to build a global climate movement. 350 was named after 350 parts per million (ppm) — the safe concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
